Drama in the Church: #1 Support

Most of the drama that we perform in church is not allowed to be videotaped, or audio-recorded. But some of it can be. Many thanks goes out to Bob Snook, for the great scripts he makes available on his web site. We performed Support [mp3] on August 28, 2005.

Broadway Bound

We saw Neil Simon’s Broadway Bound performed by the Little Theater of Alexandria. It was good. The acting was a little uneven (only 6 characters in the entire show), but we had a good time. At one point, I had a thought that the main character shared in a later monologue.

Grease

Wow, back in June I saw “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum” in Roanoke, and said I would see another show at the Mill Mountain Theater at Center in the Square if I were in Roanoke. Well, in August I was in Blacksburg, so I saw “Grease.” It was a great …
