Design Changes for Blogathon

Over the last week I’ve tweaked the design for Planetmike. I added the “Most Popular Posts” in the top right; I moved the “Ten Most Recent Posts” to the Left Center from the Top Right; and added a dynamic blogroll to the Lower Right. I like most of the changes, and will probably keep them. [...]

Resume updated

I have updated my resume. I actually haven’t touched it since April 2004, so there was a lot of out-dated information on it. A lot of my posts today will be about various updates to PlanetMike.com.

I’m in Blogathon 2007!

I am officially registered for Blogathon 2007. I’ll be blogging at least once every 30 minutes starting at 9am (Eastern) July 28th, until 9am on the 29th. I’m hoping that people will sponsor me, as I am raising money for the CHARGE Syndrome Foundation. Pledges can be a lump sum if I make it through [...]

If you don’t see it, that’s because it is a javascript thing.

PlanetMike web traffic updated

Yesterday during the Super Bowl I ran the web traffic logs for PlanetMike.com. And discovered that dozens of people at MySpace.com are leaching images from my web site for use on their profile pages. So I am now changing those images to be an ad for my web site. I wonder how long my images [...]

Technorati

I’ve just signed up with Technorati. Yeah, I’m late to the game. Technorati Profile.

Netflix Shipping Time Analysis Updated

I’ve added in my August 2005 numbers to my Netflix Analysis. Sixteen movies received, 5.23 hours quickest turnaround, 31.83 hours longest turnaround, for an average turnaround time of 17.90 hours.

Cool Illusions using Light and Darkness

A professor from MIT has written a paper on how light and darkness affects our perception. Check out the examples, you’ll think you are going blind.
