Since early July, Netflix has been slowing down how quickly they process the sending and receiving of new DVDs from my queue. Historically (over a year now) I would send a DVD back, get an email in the morning, and then get an email that same afternoon letting me know my next DVD was being mailed. Since early July, it has taken an extra day to get my “next movie is in the mail” notice. I emailed NetFlix customer service, and was basically told “tough, maybe I should change the mailing address I have Netflix send movies to.” Gee, thanks. I asked for clarification, maybe they are having lots of people on vacation right now. They replied with their FAQ response. So, even though I have 50+ items in my queue, I’m seriously considering cancelling my service. Or at least exploring Blockbuster.
