So far, I haven’t broken any of my resolutions (but I have bent one of them). What are my resolutions you ask? Good question. In 2005, I resolve to:
- Lose weight. I am currently at 207 pounds. I’d like to be at 175 by the end of the year. I was at 190 in early November, so I think I can get back to 190 by Memorial Day. My wife and I did the South Beach Diet last year, it works, but we got off of it last summer.
- Keep my desk (at home and work) more organized. I am definitely a paper-piler. Most of the time that works, but it could be much more efficient. So far at home, I’ve cleaned out two shelves of ancient PC Magazines, old books, and thrown out a giant trash bag of old papers and printouts.
- Get to bed by 10pm. Early to bed, early to rise, makes a man healthy wealthy and wise. This will be a tough one. Day 1, I’m writing this at 10:33pm. Not a good start.
